This past week we recently moved the twins from our bedroom into their OWN ROOM!!! Here are our top ten reasons to celebrate.
10. All baby gear has been removed from our room. The rock n play, glider and swing have found new homes. Now does this mean that our room is nice and organized.....three kids under three is all that needs to be said.
9. I can enjoy a book before going to bed. If you have any suggestions please leave them in the comment section.
8. I can watch a marathon of the Food Networks "Chopped" but my eyelids continue to close around 10 pm.
7. The husband and I have a space in our home that is free of baby clothes, toddler clothes, gear and toys. We aren't just someone's mom and dad. ☺️
6. If I want to choose my clothes in the morning instead of putting them out at night I can because I can turn on the light at 6 am.
5. If The General or The Guardian wake up I can determine if they need me by checking the monitor instead of going over prematurely and establishing eye contact. Once eye contact is made there is no turning back you have to pick them up.
4. Instead of guessing how I look in my khakis and polo as I get dressed in the morning I can turn on the light and see!
3. I can allow my alarm to go off instead of turning it off early and checking every two minutes to make sure that I haven't overslept.
2. The husband and I can have a conversation with the tone reaching above a whisper or the constant "what did you say".
1. The number one reason is why I have this blog. A three letter word that if you are still trying to figure it out you might be too young to read this blog.
